The Recreation Division will provide permits to the following shelters throughout the city for recreational and leisure purposes. There is NO FEE for obtaining a permit from the administrative offices located @ the Sterling Pruitt Activity Center, 2930 Gulf St. (across from the old Fair Park). (409) 838-3613.

Charlton-Pollard Park Shelter
Central Park Shelter
Colliers Ferry Shelter(Pier)
Colliers Ferry Shelter(Shore)
Liberia Park Shelter
Magnolia Park Shelter(Street-Building)
Rogers Park Shelter
Tyrrell Park Shelter (1,3, or 4)

~ Shelter Rules ~

1. Weapons, fireworks and alcoholic beverages are prohibited.
2. Park in designated areas, not on grass.
3. All fires must be maintained in grill receptacles.
4. Place all garbage and refuse in trash cans.
5. Sound/Music is prohibited at distances of 50 feet or greater. City Ordinance (Section 20-10).
6. Do not damage, drive nails, or destroy shelter facility.
7. All other City of Beaumont Ordinances and Parks and Recreation Rules apply.
8. No soliciting, vending, peddling, advertising, or selling of any kind.
9. Shelters are permitted for time stated on permit only.
10. Park Hours are Sun-Up to Sun-Down.
